Ben Charles Edwards

Ben Charles Edwards is a British film director, screenwriter and photographer. Most recently Edwards directed and co-wrote ‘Animal Charm’(2011), a garish and macabre tale about fame, fashion and revenge starring Sadie Frost, Boy George, Sally Philips (Smack the Pony, Bridget Jones Diary), Michael Urie (Ugly Betty) and Emily Beecham (the Calling).[1][2]

Previous work includes his short musical film The Town That Boars Me (2008) with a cast including Sadie Frost, Kelly Osbourne, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Dee C. Lee,[3][4] and music video "Bye Bye Baby" (2009) for the UK pop band Temposhark.[5][6]

Edwards has also created various fashion films including the film 'Giles' a study of Giles Deacon for Italian Vogue and Piers Atkinson Spring Summer 2011

Edwards began working as a fashion, celebrity and nightlife photographer both in London and Los Angeles.[7] A collection of Edwards' photography was exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in Moscow in Summer 2008 and Summer 2010
